The three sons are on a quest to save their families in Rosamund Hodge’s book. “The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas,” which was translated as Apotheosis, was written in response to Ursula K. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. Since then, Hodge has gone on to publish two more novels, Crimson Bound and Stone in the Sky. The novel was acquired by the publisher and released to critical acclaim. It was while she was working at HarperCollins that Hodge submitted her manuscript for Cruel Beauty. She worked as an assistant editor at a small publishing house before landing a job as an editorial assistant at HarperCollins. After graduation, Hodge moved to New York City to pursue a career in publishing. She studied English Literature and Language, and it was during her time at Oxford that she began writing Cruel Beauty. After high school, Hodge attended the University of Oxford on a full scholarship. It was the result of a ten-year journey that began when Hodge was just eighteen years old. Rosamund Hodge’s first book, Cruel Beauty, was published in 2014 by HarperCollins.
